Typically the condominiums in Costa Rica are either constructed using concrete block or through poured concrete, as with all things each method has its own pros and cons. Another thing to keep in mind when purchasing an ocean view condominium is whether or not it is built on concession land. We will discuss this in more detail, but basically in Costa Rica if your Condo is built within 200 Meters of the high tide line, your condo is declared concession, meaning you are just leasing the land, you don´t technically own it.
